Carol Suzanne Nichols
January 16, 2023
Carol Suzanne Nichols aged 69 passed away in Boca Raton Regional Hospital on January 16, 2023, after a series of health issues.
Carol was born June 24, 1953, in Illinois to Arthur and Marguerite Nichols. She remained in Illinois growing up in Arlington Heights until the early 70s when her family relocated to Coral Springs, Florida. There she began a long career with the Arch dioceses managing affordable senior housing. Upon her retirement, Carol relocated to Delray Beach.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed history (particularly the Civil War), music, writing, horses, Mahjong, cats, her family, and friends. Loved by everyone who met her, Carol was filled with kindness, love, and honor. She will especially be missed for her incredible humor and wit.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Marguerite Nichols.
She is survived by her loving brothers Thomas Nichols of Texas, James (Donna) Nichols of South Carolina, David (Roselle) Nichols of Florida, her adoring nieces Michelle (Joseph) Morse, and Jenna Nichols, her nephew James Benbrook of Michigan, her newborn great niece Remington and her dearest lifelong friend Darlene (Joseph) Krozel of Illinois.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved still missed, and forever dear.
