Michael Steyer

In loving memory of Michael Steyer 86, who passed away in West Palm Beach, FL on August 13, 2018, after a serious illness.

Well known for his work ethic, devotion to family, and generosity: Michael was born in Zrenjanin (Yugoslavia) and later emigrated first to Canada in 1955 and later to Chicago, Illinois in 1959.

He proudly worked at Zenith Electronics Corporation for many years retiring in 1996 as Senior Project Engineer. He loved playing tennis, and history, listening to music, and watching old movies. Some of his favorite films were the classics, like "High Noon," Robin Hood," "Shane," and "Destry Rides Again."

He usually spent his weekends with his family, going on picnics, fishing, and doing the things they enjoyed most. He will be especially remembered for all his encouragement and support regarding musical education and the wonderful vacations in Canada.

Devoted husband of Pierrette, loving father of Gregory, beloved father-in-law of Adelia and grandfather of Ashley, dear brother of Annemarie, dear brother of Steve (deceased) and Hans (deceased), beloved son of Michael (deceased) and Maria (deceased).

He will be forever missed by his extensive family and friends.
