Carmen Norma Gonzalez de Aymond

Carmen Norma Gonzalez de Aymond age 93, passed away peacefully while sleeping on January 17, 2021, in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born March 18, 1927, in Cataño, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Pablo and Maria Padro. She married Joseph Rodney Aymond on December 21, 1951, of Ardnaudville, Louisiana who preceded her in death on July 10, 1968.
Carmen lived a full life and loved the opera, musical theatre, and classical music. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She instilled in her children strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Carmen is survived by her children, Marie Stoltz and husband Dale of Palm Coast, Florida; Mary-Lynn Aymond-Gonzalez of West Palm Beach, Florida; Mario Aymond of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Charlotte Aymond-Nowalk and husband Kevin of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren: Stella Mercado, Larry Mercado, Rodney Stoltz, Allan Mercado, Tyler Harding; and 7 great-grandchildren. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
She was also predeceased by a son James, on May 8, 1999, and a Grandchild Berhent Stoltz, on August 15, 2009.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association in her honor.
The family will have a celebration of her life at a future date in Puerto Rico.
