Michael Mongelli

Michael Mongelli, 70, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on March 22, 2026. Born on August 10, 1955, in Queens, New York, Michael was the son of the late Marino and Joan Mongelli.

A graduate of high school, Michael dedicated his career to the arts and media as a television production manager. His professional diligence was matched only by his vibrant personal life. In 1991, Michael married Ellen Mongelli, and together they shared 35 years of a loving marriage. Ellen remembers him as her true partner through life, remaining steadfast by her side regardless of the challenges they faced.

Michael was a man of diverse interests. He was a passionate "dog-dad" who found peace swimming in his pool and enjoyed spending time with his electronics, movies, and music. Above all else, he was a man who deeply loved his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Mongelli. He was the beloved brother of Richard Mongelli and Nancy Mongelli. He also leaves behind several surviving relatives, including Jill Mongelli, Grace Mongelli, Jack Mongelli, Scott and Karen Andrews, and Todd and Jeanne Thoomsen. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Marino and Joan Mongelli.

Michael’s warmth and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
