Susan M Jackson

Susan M Jackson, of Lake Worth, FL passed away peacefully on March 23, 2020.

Sue was born in St. Louis, MO on August 3, 1941, to Walter and Ethel Matthews and relocated to Florida in 1980.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 34 years, Dave, and her sons Bill and Bobby. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Gi (Susan) and her brother Bob. She was a wonderful Oma to her five beloved grandsons, Richie, Josh, Jeff, Jake, and Cody.

Sue was an early childhood educator and loved teaching and helping children of all ages. She was a beloved nanny to many local families after her retirement. She also loved animals and had many dogs and cats throughout her life. She loved gardening, coloring, reading, crafting, and walking on the beach. She always had a shell or two in her pocket!

Sue was a member of many clubs and local groups. She volunteered with the garden club at the zoo. She was very outgoing and talked to anyone and everyone! One of her favorite activities was thrift store shopping to find unique things at a bargain price.

She spent many hours making blankets for children in need through Project Linus and had several completed blankets ready to donate. If desired, donations to Project Linus in Sue’s memory would be greatly appreciated.

Sue was a good friend to many and she will be greatly missed.
